About us...

My name is Frances Brooks, since 1995, I have spent a great deal of time developing my own line of Contrail working cocker spaniels

From being 8 years old, I have been involved in training numerous breeds of dogs in various disciplines. 

It has been my aim to produce dogs  that retain the drive and style of the true working cocker, with a degree of honesty, and a desire to please, that makes them ideal companions, both in the shooting field, and in the home.

Competing with my own dogs, we have achieved success in the highly competitive world of field trialling. With Contrail Cockers gaining numerous field trial awards in both Novice and Open Trials.

During the shooting season, 'my dogs work on the local shoots .  On walked-up days, the cockers are to the fore.  When on picking up duties they are joined by my Labradors, the two breeds complimenting each other perfectly.

Although the Cockers are my first love, I also train and work Labradors, in conjunction with Lowforge Labradors, from Yorkshire.
